The Lacy Leadership Association Memorial Scholarship honors and serves as a memorial to deceased LLA members and moderators who have had contributions made in their memory. To date, those who have been memorialized are James A. Adams, Robert K. Bellamy, Thomas W. Binford, Eugene B. Hibbs, James C. Linder, Anne C. Peterson, Howard N. Redding and Fred C. Tucker, Jr. The annual scholarship provides tuition assistance for one or more motivated and committed individuals who may not otherwise be able to participate in the SKL series. Special consideration is given to those from nonprofit organizations and governmental entities. If awarded an LLA scholarship, the recipient is encouraged to become an LLA member and class representative upon completion of the SKL series, and become involved with LLA activities. Applications for the LLA Memorial Scholarship are available during the SKL application period.
